FIGURE 5 PRODUCTIONS PASSES IMPORTANT MILESTONE IN CDC ETHIOPIAN HIV/AIDS DOCUMENTARIES

October 28, 2008 – Wayne, NJ – Figure 5 Productions has passed an important milestone in its video assignment on behalf of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

It has received approval today on rough cuts “without condition” not only from CDC Ethiopia but from the Department of Health and Human Services in Washington,
D. C., both the Office of Global Health Affairs (OGHA) and the Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs (ASPA).

Figure 5 is producing the three part series with the working title of “From Shadows to Light.” These documentary style videos will promote further awareness about HIV/AIDS in rural Ethiopia, workplace intervention and elimination of traditional harmful practices.

These approvals set the stage for their finalization and the planning of the Launch event, and broadcast on Ethiopian television in 2009.

“ I have nothing but good things to say and I can speak to your attention to detail, attention to production schedule, adherence to contract terms, excellent business and customer relations, flexibility, successfully rising to the challenge of facing significant logistic and political issues, and overall exceeding customer expectations,” CDC Atlanta’s Contracting Officer Patrick Gourley wrote to Figure 5.
